According to the report, Russia is a sudden surprise this season, because it is the top destination for shoppers and tourists from China. The main reason is the low value of the Russian national currency, the ruble. Korea, Japan, United States and Thailand are not top priorities anymore.
The Russian news agency RIA Novosti declared that, with the coming of winter, Russia has become a “paradise for shopping” to Chinese tourists, in the traditional ”dead” winter season. China's ”Ctrip” travel agency has made calculations and it seems there was a drop of more than thirty percent in the prices of Russian goods.
