As the nights draw in and the temperatures drop there is nothing more comforting than the thought of burning log fires, cosy blankets and winter warming hot toddies.

Londoners in search of an escape from the wintery elements can head to the Montague on the Gardens until January 15th where the hotel’s outdoor wood deck will be magically transformed into an Alpine ski-lodge, complete with a brand new Log Cabin inspired area.

Decorated with, pine trees, snowmen, reindeers, falling snow and twinkling lights the Ski Lodge brings a slice of the Alps to Bloomsbury where guests can select from a range of après ski favourites including flavoured schnapps and vodkas (sherry trifle, mandarin, candy cane and toffee) and winter warmers such as mulled wine, spiced cider and hot ‘choctails’.

Those looking for a more intimate escape can cosy up in the brand new Log Cabin boasting open fires, rattan sofas, blankets and a range of bar snacks and festive themed drinks.

To gain access to the Ski Lodge, guests need to purchase a ‘ski pass’ for £25, which includes a seasonal spread of turkey schnitzel, bratwurst and deep fried camembert and a choice of three festive drinks from the Ski Lodge bar menu.

The Ski Lodge is also open for group bookings and Christmas parties for up to 200 guests with private hire packages starting from £35 per person.

Open from 11:00-22:00, it’s the perfect winter wonderland retreat for après-ski (or après-work) drinks, right in the heart of Bloomsbury.

To avoid disappointment this Christmas, check availability and book in advance.
