According to The Associated Press and Aol News, tourists were injured in Turkey after a hot air balloon accident in the Cappadocia area of the country.

Hurriyet Daily News reports that this area of Turkey is famous for its cone-shaped rock formations. The balloon struck an electricity wire and made an emergency landing. The balloon was carrying 20 people, and 18 were taken to nearby hospitals.

Nine have already been released from the hospitals and the others are expected to be released soon, says The Associated Press and Aol News. Two of the tourists involved are American, but a majority of the tourists are Chinese.
